The Alamo City Men’s Chorale invites you to the San Antonio benefit premier of "Sex and the City: The Movie" on Thursday, May 29, one day in advance of when the film is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide. A portion of each ticket will benefit ACMC. There will be a cash bar and a "Sexy" raffle with fabulous prizes. So, strap on you sexiest stilletos and join us for an evening of great "Sex."

Movie synopsis
"Sex and the City: The Movie" finds Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda four years after this hit HBO series ended, as our favorite friends continue to juggle jobs and relationships while navigating motherhood, marriage and Manhattan real estate. Carrie Bradshaw, successful author and everyone’s favorite icon-next-door, is back, her famously sardonic wit intact and sharper than ever, as she continues to narrate her own story about sex, love and the fashion-obsessed single woman in New York City.

Come decked out in your bobby socks, letter jackets, blue jeans and poodle skirts as we blast you back to the ’50s for Let’s Go to the Hop! We’ll rock you ’round the clock with many of your favorites including Buddy Holly, Elvis the Pelvis, and Bill Haley and the Comets. And, you’ll certainly not want to miss the hilarious appearance of our very own Patsy Cline! It’s cool, it’s hip, but it’s all rock and roll to me as ACMC takes you back to the ’50s for, Lets’ Go to the Hop!

ACMC’s Wine Drawing
Enter our special drawing and you will have a chance to win a wide selection of varietals from numerous vineyards. Last year’s winner scored 100 bottles of wine. The winner will be chosen during our June 21 concert. Tickets are $10 each and are available from any Chorale member or by calling 210-495-SING. You do not have to be present to win.

A new fundraising campaign
"Friends For Another 20 Years"

ACMC Executive Director, Robert Hernandez launched a fundraising campaign to raise $100,000.00 in unrestricted funds during the next year above and beyond the funds to meet our operating budget.

To do this they will be reaching out to past, present, and potential individual donors from throughout the San Antonio area. ACMC is celebrating 20 years this August and we would not be here without our loyal supporters. This additional money would be used to create a reserve fund for the Chorale and help leverage additional monies from foundations and corporate sponsors.

The Campaign’s goal is to solicit 500 supporters for a $200.00 pledge, paid all at once or broken into payments.
